Kale

You can't beat kale if your are looking for tasty greens with high vitamin content. Kale is very high in vitamins and is prepared like spinach. May be sown from May to September and is not harmed by cold weather. Plants should be about 18 inches apart, in rows 2 1/2 feet apart. An ounce sows 200 feet of row.

A very vigorous variety for the home garden and for market. Plant is 16 inches tall and 28 inches in diameter. Has a large blue green leaf with coarsely filled edges.

Resistant to cold weather, this variety is great for freezing. Speading and uniform plant. Leaves have a distinct bluish-green cast, extremely curly. 1/2 oz.
